Welcome! I’m so glad you stopped by. A little bit about me: My name is Jen, I am the happy wife to my favorite UPS man, and a mama to four fun kiddos. We have three sons (two of whom have ADHD) and one daughter, and together we live in somewhat organized chaos in the small Northern California town I was born and raised in.
I have dreamt of being a writer since I was old enough to understand what great writing is. Inspired by authors like Louisa May Alcott, and Jane Austen, I imagined writing stories that would draw people in. Jo March, Elizabeth Bennet and Anne Shirley were some of my favorite childhood friends, and I hoped to one day create characters that people could relate to and love.
As a busy, and often overwhelmed, ADHD mama, that dream is on hold, but I still craved the need for a creative outlet. Which brings us to why you are here! I started this blog as a way to share my thoughts, and to invite others in as we walk through this life together. Wherever you may be in your current stage of life, married, single, trenches of parenthood, living the kid free life, dealing with ADHD, or are a NeuroTypical human, my hope is that you leave my blog feeling encouraged. Thank you for taking the time to read bits of my heart!
